Photo Stats Scripts

This ZIP contains the Photo Stats scripts for Linux, Windows and macOS.

Photo Stats analyses your photo collection and gives you a clear overview of your most-used cameras, lenses and focal lengths. For zoom lenses, it lists the different focal lengths you have actually used, giving you a quick picture of your real-world shooting habits.

Included

• photostats.sh — Linux & macOS
• photostats.ps1 — Windows PowerShell

Linux & macOS

Extract the ZIP file and make the script executable. On Linux, this can be done through Properties → Permissions → Allow executing file as program.

Or from the terminal:

chmod +x photostats.sh

Then run it with:

./photostats.sh

Windows

Extract the ZIP file and run the PowerShell script from PowerShell:

.\photostats.ps1

Depending on your Windows security settings, you may need to allow PowerShell scripts to run on your system.

The scripts are designed to be simple to use and require no installation.
