Install instructions
Supported platforms:

Linux desktops with X11 (KDE, XFCE, MATE, etc.)

Tested on Kubuntu, Ubuntu, Debian, Arch, Manjaro, Fedora
How to install:

Install Conky with your package manager (e.g.
sudo apt install conky-all
) -
Copy one of the included
.conkyrc
files to your home folder -
Launch it with:
conky -c ~/.conkyrc

(Optional) Add it to your system's startup applications
Requirements:

X11 display server (Wayland not supported)
-
Compositor enabled (for transparency)

Basic terminal access
Disclaimer:
This setup is tested and works well on multiple Linux systems — but it's still Linux, and you're modifying system behavior.
If your screen flashes, your panel disappears, or your cat learns to code, that’s on you.
